Roller Blinds are possibly the most simple and functional window furnishing. They provide an effective way of eliminating heat, direct sunlight and glare in to a room whilst ensuring privacy.
There are three general types of fabric used for Roller Blinds:
- Sheer fabric
- Semi -transparent fabric which diffuses light but allows for privacy
- Blockout fabric
Depending on the purpose of the Roller Blind the right fabric selection is essential in delivering the desired effect and function of the Blinds.
Roller Blinds are operated manually by chain winders with stainless steel or plastic chains or they can be for motorisation of internal curtains, Blinds, and Rollers. Roller Blinds are mounted simply into brackets and can either be top fixed or face fixed.
Roller Blinds can be used in conjunction with other window treatments – working especially well sitting behind curtains.
We are also able to link Roller Blinds together, therefore allowing two – three Blinds to be manually operated by one chain winder. This is beneficial in an application over bi-folding doors or over big expanses of glass.
